on the casting number of the block the first letter is the decade. starting at C=60's, D=70's, E=80's,F=90's then the 2nd number behind it is the yr. for a 302 starting at 68. so it would be C8****** and say a 75 302 would be D5******* and like a 5.0 roller block would start at 85 and be E5******

Ok so most of you guys knew that I bought a new engine with a little bit of head work done ;) Question 1) anyway's WERE THE HECK IS THE FRIGGIN NUMBERS ON THE BLOCK???? Either im blind or there not there. It is 87 as far as I know. Just want to double check. Questions 2) I also did some upgrading on my fuel system ;). Now I need a Fuel pick up if you don't know what this is it looks like this.... casting numbers passegers rear by the starter. fuel pick up yes it will work. |
