serpentine help

Hi
Does anyone have a picture of how the belt is routed with only crank pulley, water pump, altenator and tensioner? Which direction is the water pump supposed to turn?

there is a litttle piece of metal you have to remove that prevents the tentioner from rotating past a certain point. You have to cut or grind it off. I know you can't see much but its the only pics I could find that are close (dial up beware).

the red diagram is for no a/c.

The red diagram does use the A/C, it eliminates the power steering and smog pump.

Like the diagram says, the water pump spins counter-clockwise.

umm no it doesn't, when you don't have a/c the p/s pump is at the top!

The red diagram is the way mine is routed, with the P/S where it shows the air to be obviously.

When you delete the smog pump, do you need to do anything else? Can you just take the belt off or do you need to remove the pump aswell?
