Simple Mods and thier prices...

Didn't see a post started yet suggestion simple mods (or major), and the approximate price involved and some pics if you have them. I am sure I am not the only one interested in doing stuff with their car but not wanting to get into a total rebuild, ect...

It depends on the car. On the 5.0 models, ensuring that all your tune up parts are in good shape and/or replaced, you always remove the air box silencer (free), bump the ignition timing up to about 14-15* BTDC and use with premium gas (free), install a K+N in-panel air filter or a cold air kit ($55-$180), install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator ($60-$250), new or used cat back exhaust system ($250-$800), change spark plug heat range and modify electrode (free-$25), install hotter coil ($40-$80), install off road or catalytic H/X pipe new or used ($50-$750), install short tube unequal length headers new or used ($50-$400), switch to synthetic engine/trans/diff oil ($75-$200), install an electric fan ($100-$300)..... and the list could go on. If you're a super tightass and do lots of searching and haggling, you could probably piece together any number of low-buck performance setups.
