Not talking you.
Not yet anyway. But if you think a car with a spool cant still go around turns then you have a lot to learn. You ever try driving a car with a good locker or posi in the rain or snow around a corner. You still have to take it easy and if you get on it you will have back end step out no worse then with a spool.

But your right and world is wrong.

do what u want... all depends on what u are gonna do in the future.. how much power etc...

I'm running in the 11's and will be in the 10's with the bottle on.. I run a 31 spline setup with a stock ford carrier.. all in the 8.8 rear..
I run these times on Street E.T's also, with 1.6 60 Foot times..

I was going to run a set of c-clip elim.. but I was hearing that they were bad for leaking... so I stayed away..

And like someone else was saying for Aubrun... once its broken its broken,, no rebuilds... un-like other choices..

I will admit that the C clips will leak.
On 8.8s most are a bolt on C clip were on 9icn its a better setup.
The ones on my car take a year or just less then a year b4 they start to leak

i ran a auburn mini spool in my 94 f150 and 31 spline axles standered 8.8 3.08 gears and it wasn't bad for the first 6 months but the tire wear and the horrible turning radias wasn't for me i ended up blowing up the rear end split the carrier and broke a few teeth off the ring gear . it wasn't worth it since its an everyday driver i ened up switching to a stock ford 8.8 limited slip huge differance much better for driving on the road and the tires last more than twice as long. if ur gonna be at the drags alot then a spool is a good choice but i would stick with the limited slip

I dont like mini spools at all. All the stress is placed on the pin and the
carrier so when the carrier fails it takes out everything like what happend to you.
