Temp Gauge No Workie

Guys, my 88 gt temp gauge is not workin, any ideas? im gonna go after market, but just not right now.. also, my turning singles are really so and messed up, sometimes they blink and then pause and stay on and then start blinkin normal, then stop? any ideas?

I would start by checking the coolant temp sensor. If thats ok the pull the cluster out and check the back for burns, that will indicate the guage is toast.

As for the turn signals, start by checking all the bulbs and if they are good then change the signal switch. I have a extra one if you want it, try it and if fixes the problem then keep it.

Good luck. :tup

The coolant sensor for the dash is a 1 wire sensor, mounted on the intake, driver's side, just behind the a/c compressor (if equipped), unplug the connecter and ground it, the guage should peg, if it does, replace the sensor. As for the turn signals, it could be the switch but did you check the flasher? A new flasher is like 4 bucks, worth a shot.
