Any ideas? I am at a loss for answers

Ok, here's the scoup I am having a problem where my daytime running lights stay on after the car is off. I have been looking for a fuse or a module to help fix this problem but have yet to find it. I have had some good suggestions but still at a loss here.

Any body have any idea's? I have the haynes manual and that still isn't helping..

Help me please as I want to jump in the car and cruise. :):)

btw, it's a '90 hatch.

Now if I take the module out will I not have daytime running lights or will I have no lights at all?!?!? :)

The dtr is located by the horn l/f inner fender, honk the horn to locate it. Disconect the harness to the module, you will loose the hand brake indicator in the dash, no big deal, been driving like than for over 10yrs, not really an issue.

Oops reread your question, no you will not loose your headlights.

check with your local ford dealer, there is a recall on the daytime running light module, because they stay on after the key is turned off, also you should check to make sure all the other recals have been done on your car! depending on the year, obviously 1990 or newer, some of them had faulty ignition switches that melted and burned the car down, a good thing to check on if your module is acting up!
