What head to swap to make it simple but better

have a 347 stroker motor and the previous owner installed y303 gt40 aluminium heads 1.7 crane rockers. Cam is a pro comp custom so not sure what lobe. GT40 intake on top. Not sure on piston might be a flat top not sure.

Any suggestion on an easy swap head so i dont have to change anything or too much. Need more power and and woudl like to keep the power down low like it is now. Fun street ride but always want more

Thanks

I always liked the tfs twisted wedge heads..... Great bang for the buck.

Gt40 isn't a bad intake, just have the lower ported if the previous owner hasn't. :)

AFR 165 or 185 heads (depending on the cam size and your rpm range), you'll need new rocker gear to go with them as well.

X2 on AFR, for the stroker I would bolt up a 185 but the new 165's flow like the old 185's

Thank you AFR does sound good from the reviews. Appreciate the help.

Before the head swap ... why not have it tuned to see if it is all that it can be ?
