wont be hard to beat a cobra. You NEED Et Streets though. Hopefully you have suspension.

put a 150 shot on your car, and lay the hurtings on him.

Spray or an S-Trim are your best bet.

I agree, spray or blower with traction you will beat him. The verts are pigs with the weight, gears help them but you have more torque with the cubes. Go blower, always have the power on tap. Just make sure you dont get blinded by the bling.
And without tractions that snake will never see 11's. You need mid-low 12s to compete I would think.

Problem is my NEW combo with forged pistons is nearing 10.2:1 compression... I think it would be inefficent for a blower......... THOUGH I'D LOVE ONE HAHA

I think my PONY will POUNCE on the snake if I had a blower, with traction of course

Spray it! 10:1 is no problem at all, pick up a NX plate kit and have a few differnt power levels to play with. One similiar to mine will get you a small 50 hit and take it up to 300 if you are feeling brave, or a smaller plate kit that'll do 50-200 more likely. A small 100 shot and some traction should do the trick pretty damn easy.

Traction is key though.

The Plan

Thanks TC your input is always great

My Game plan

BMN's Nitro Control. this thing has many features I like, RPM window switch, and 1st gear lockout, at a fair price.

Carb Plate (undecided.) NOS or NX

Fuel pressure Safety Switch (not sure what manufacture yet)

WOT Switch

Bottle heater isn't something I think I'll need (don't make it out that much, but not sure.. I'd like opinions on this )

I just installed my BMN Nitro Control, great unit. I had problems with the MSD unit. The 1st gear lockout works great too! If you have to choose go with NX!

Get the heater or figure out some way to get the bottle warmed up when you need it. I have yet to have a full bottle be even close to optimum pressure without heating. In my book, a must have.

As for brand, I doubt you can go wrong with either NOS or NX, I'm partial to NX, I'm having a real good time with it LOL!

I don't get not wanting to spray in first, if you've got the traction, may as well reap the big benefit of a holeshot. If traction will suck....then it makes sense.

Again..traction! Do whatever you can to get a decent tire under the car. If you can get the jump, it makes it that easier to stay ahead.
