You'd be getting them for your new heads correct? If so, you'll need to measure the stud in question to be sure. If they're for 5.0 H.O. heads, they're most likely pedestal-mount, not stud-mount.

Thanks again, Ponyryd!!!!

yes, it will be for my e7te's, so right you are! i'm supposed to meet the guy on sunday to pick them up, so will await that before getting roller rockers. the question only came up b/c i've been phoning around trying to price them out, and everyone asks me if i want 3/8 or 7/16.

pm me if you don't mind, and lemme know where you live. if/when i'm in that part of canada, i owe you a beer (or at least a thank you in person).

cheers

steve

No problem buddy, I'm glad to help, keep us updated with the progress.
Here's some rockers used, but you'll need clarification on the ratio-it seems he's unsure.

1.6s will still be better than stockers-but won't give as much lift.

If they are unmodified E7s, then you will need pedestal mount rockers as mentioned. If they are going to be converted to screw-in stud with pushrod guideplates, you have the choice of going with 3/8" or 7/16". I'd recommend the 7/16" if you're going to do that work anyway. I had a 3/8 stud break on the Dart heads on my 87 at Mosport, changed it over to 7/16", it was fine after that.

cheers
