GTAMC Poker Run - End of Season Event

The days are getting shorter... the nights are cooler...

That means that it's Poker Run time again! Following last year's hugely successful event, we're going to stick with a winner and do it again, but on a different course this time. Those that can't follow written directions will get lost again this year, but it's all in good fun.

Here's the skinny:

Sunday, October 5th is the day.

Be at the Price Chopper Plaza on the Northeast corner of Highway #2 and Townline Road in Courtice, for 9:00 a.m. Meet at south end of the parking lot, just east of the Sunoco.

Park, check in at the registration tent, then get your coffee and gasoline.

There are both a Tim Horton's across the street and a Sunoco on the corner for those in need.

Drivers meeting at 9:45am sharp at registration tent

The first car will be away at 10:00 a.m. With a couple minutes between cars, this is not a race, and we dont need any accidents before we even leave the parking lot

You can expect a 3 - 4 hour cruise through the scenic areas east of Toronto (Courtice / Newcastle / Cobourg / Bewdley / Port Perry), ending up at the Hooters Restaurant in Whitby at 1:30 - 2pm.

In order to plan properly for this event, we need you to pre-register. The cost is $20 per car if you pre-register. $30 on the day-of.

So, check your calendar and reserve October 5th for the last great event of the year.

Bring whatever you want to run in. Daily drivers are allowed.

Did I mention prizes? Yea, there are some for the top three finishers. Psst.. It's CASH!

There will also be a 50/50 in support of CCVF, our charity of choice.
