68 stalling

My wife bought me a 68 mustang for my 50th birthday 54000 orginal miles, 3 speed standard, 289. It seems to be running ruff as I need to use my feet on both gas and brake any time I come to a stop, to keep it running. A friend had adujusted the idle a little higher but has not helped.

Any one in the Ajax area the would be able to have a look (gladly pay)or give me a suggestion where to take it, as I don't wont to take to Canadian Tire or somewhere similar.

The problem could be split vaccum lines it could be running too rich. Check the spark plugs. Does the car have electronic ignition or Points and a condensor on the Distributer Cap???

Yep I was going to say the same thing, Sounds like a Vacuum problem.

Few weeks ago , i had a problem with a vacuum line , i couldn't figure out what the problem was , until i noticed a line fell out.

Put the line back in and ran perfect. Check all the lines.
