American Muscle Bama Tuner Issues
 

Anyone experienced problems with a Bama tuner on a V6? Installed 87S tune on '12 V6 and two weeks later experienced metallic flutter on acceleration at speeds. Sounded like an old beater. Really banged from 1st to 2nd at slow speeds as well. Flashed it make to stock and problems seem to have gone away.

Perhaps just a problem tune. I`d call their customer support line ASAP.

I suggest the samething as VAEM call them and let them know whats happening.

That's odd but I have heard they have good customer service.

Not sure if it's the same issue, but a fella in town here with an '11 V6 had a Bama tune and his car wouldn't run right and barely stayed running at an idle, and he called AM and they ended up giving him a new custom tune, and it straightened it out. No issues since, as far as I know.

any reports?

Called AM and the guy on the phone said to try it on 87P to see if it does the same thing. I have been too chicken to try it as it runs fine on Stock settings - just not the same response though.
