Detailing engine bay

Hey everyone, I need some suggestions on what products to use to detail my 4.6. When I picked up my car, you could shave in the glossy reflection of the plastics, rubber hoses and metal under the hood. I've recently degreased the engine bay and now want to restore that under-hood shine. I've looked at all the products that Cdn Tire & Partsource and nothing actually say for engine compartment, safe for areas exposed to heat, etc. The collector I bought it from shined it up good and now I'm looking to do the same but am totally lost on this one. I can't call him for advice, he's East of Montreal and in Europe at this time, so I'm reaching out to you guys for pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Minbari (Chris)

Found this product online might buy it myself;

Meguiars Engine Cleaner

I believe this is like 'Gunk', which is a spectacular degreaser that works wonders, but not a detailing product

Thanks anyway, I'll happily switch to the Meguir's, it stinks less!

I have always used the same detailing products in the engine bay as I use on exterior(spray detailers, polishes and waxes). My preference is Croftgate products.

For greasy engine bays, i've always used WD40, a few rags, and toothbrushes. It lubes, and cleans at the same time.
To keep the shine going on related parts, and plastics, i use tire shine.
