LOL, I'll keep an eye open for it. Have you ordered a tune for the C&L?
|
Yup, I gave them all the information they needed for the custom tune.

It came today. I installed the C&L CAI and put the performance tune in. I'm really happy with the out come. Fellow member Roddy has done it again for me. Now all he has to do is show me some tweaking tricks. :cyberguy:
Thanks, buddy for all your help and that special delivery today!!! :yourock: |
No problem and I'm glad you're happy. Did you get a chance to take it for more of a drive? I'll have to stop by when I have more than 5 minutes to spare.

Change of plans.

Well, here I go again. I changed my mind. I'm not going to go with the Bullitt Rims that I bought back in March. I picked up some near perfect 18" 10 Spoke rims off an 2012 Mustang. Just a minor scratch where someone tried to pop off the center cap. Now to try and find some tires for them. What size do I need going from 16" to 18"? That also means that the Bullitt Rims will be going up for sale.

I was looking forward to seeing the gold wheels but those will look pretty damn good and the lower profile tires will look better. I think the factory size for 2012 is 235/50 18.

^ what he said.
Depending on the width of the wheel, you might also be able to use a 255/45/18 tire. |

The rims are 8" wide. Kevin from Empey Tire on your side of the bay is looking into some tires for me. He is interested in taking my 2 sets in on trade. I'll know more on Monday. |
8" is on the low end of recommended rim widths for a 255/45 tire. 8.5 would be better 9.0 would be perfect. The 235/50 would be a better fit with an 8" wheel. There is a pretty big selection of tires in that size anyway. Did you ever end up getting a new battery?
