Report for Hood color change?
 

I am living in Canada, ON. I own a white 2012 mustang V6. I replaced the OEM hood into a black carbon fibre hood. Do I need to report the color change to MTO or insurance company?

What If I change both hood + top roof into black? do I need to report that?

Do not want any trouble with the police and insurance company when claim.

You shouldn't have to a friend of mine has a red Boss 302 and the roof is black from the factory but his insurance slip he said lists the car as red. I think if you did a full colour change you may have to. If you really want to be sure double check with your insurance company as not all may be the same.

Second that idea, as long as the car is mostly white, shouldn't be a problem. Post up some pics of the new hood when you get a chance.
