MegaSquirtPNP G2 EEC4A8 for 86-93 Ford Mustang 5.0

with this system from you, will it auto tune or do i have to datalog and tune it myself or worse yet pay someone to tune it

Autotuning for fuel is handled through the laptop. You will need the registered version of TunerStudio to do this, but it's only a few bucks compared to dyno tuning, and you will need a wideband. There is, however, no equivalent autotune for the spark table. We've yet to see a reliable way to do this that produces a spark table correctly dialed in for maximum power.

so since im no tuning guru id still have to pay someone to tune it pretty much if nothing else for the spark table

That is what I'd recommend, although the out of the box spark table should be decnet for a lightly modded Mustang.

hmm ok ill have to keep researching i guess i was hoping to keep the money out of the dyno guys pocket. lightly wont likely cover me boost

do u have anything that auto tunes that i could make work?

Matt Cramer 09-10-2012 09:39 AM

Any of our systems can be set up for fuel autotuning but not spark.

so basically id be no further ahead than the plug and play lol, im still researching what route ill go but still leaning towards you guys

The MSPNP adds many extras, but additional auto-tuning is not one of them.
