I'm not sure who it belonged to but somebody in central Alberta (RCMP/Sheriff's/Lacombe Police) had a Mustang GT a few years ago. Bone stock looking black S197 GT I saw with a few cars stopped on the QEII where it's 6 lanes between Ponoka and Lacombe.

Victoria police on Vancouver Island have also been using the Mustang GT for traffic enforcement.
