Ok here are the pictures of the Fox fiberglass reinforcement to my 94GT

As you can see the stock steel/styafoam bumper is right up tight to my intercooler.

So I removed it and found cancer......That was not good.

Bye Bye cancer

Back to normal

Then I made new mounts

Once the new mounts were completed I installed them onto the car.

After the mounts were bolted down, it was now time to install the Fox fiberglass reinforcement bumper on, with stainless steel hardware ;)
Attachment 22991

As you can see there is LOTS more room to my intercooler with the bumper swap.

It was also a weight reduction, if you would like to do the same send me a PM and ill help you the best I can ;)
Yes the bumper cover fits.

Thanks

Is there no metal bumper support with that piece of foam?

I want to put a FMIC in but I'm not too sure on removing or cutting the bumper support.

Stang Illusions 5.0L 12-17-2007 11:05 AM

The bumper is pretty much only to hold the front bumper cover up and in place.
The Foam is attached to the bumper by rivits.
Then once you remove the bumper you will be looking at the collapsable mount shown in picture 3, 4, 5 and 6 (Going from top to bottom).

No worries on cutting bumper or bumper support. never touched a thing when i did mine.

Well the metal support was removed, I would be concerned in the event of a crash. I want to do it, but I don't... if you understand what I mean.

Stang Illusions 5.0L, have any more pictures of your intercooler setup with the pipe routing?

You still interested in seeing pics?

If you have any. Still undecided if I'm going to do it or not though.
