If all goes well, I'm looking at the 624HP kit from Ford Racing, with their S/C. Hopefully by mid-summer, but that's very dependant on finances at the time. Anyway, i'ts basically the same setup as the supercharged GT350, and comes with warranty. There are other kits, with more boost, but no warranty, and I'm not willing to take that chance.

That 624hp kit is unreal. The 5.0's response to boost is amazing. There's cars on youtube in stock trim with only the supercharger kit run 10's.

No doubt about it the Coyote Engine is a nice power plant!

Yeah I know a lot of people like the other brands better, but honestly, I'm a huge fan of Ford aftermarket parts, or Shelby. I don't like to experiment too much.

Yeah a lot of effort and technology went into it, so let's hope it's as reliable as Ford claims it will be. I have a feeling the aftermarket for these things is gonna be a lot like the aftermarket was for the previous 5.0's:tup

I just bought the Car & Driver magazine and they have a write up on the Camaro ZL1 at 580 horsepower. Flip over the page and behold the Ford Shelby 500 with 650 horsepower. Whey to go Ford. Just when Chevy thought they were going somewhere.
We have a local cocky GM dealer and they were trying to impress me on the ZL1 and how it would outdo what ever Ford could throw at it. Then I showed them the Ford article. They were silenced.:tup
