I happened to see a ZL1 at work today and I was not impressed. The exhaust looks terrible.

Where at Herbz?

I work at the Elbow Springs Golf Club just down Highway 8 in Elbow Valley. The ZL1 I seen was metallic orange and they way it sounded made it seem like they focused too much on the paint and not enough on the engine.

I've noticed that about all of the new Camaros. 6 or 8, idling or on the gas, they just don't sound right to me. :dunno

I'm not surprised by this at all. Must be some seriously pissed chevy guys out there.

I love how the ZL1 was shown at the Detroit auto show

Aparently Ford announced the new 650 hp 5.8L later on that day. :)

It must really depend on the Dyno used, in another video somewhere here the GT500 was putting down as much hp at the wheels as the ZL1 makes at the crank (approx 580hp).

the new GT500 I guess has been certified at 662hp.. basically the world most powerful mass produced sports car. ford for the win!
