Much better than the sublime sillyness!

Here is a better example of what you can do with a s197 Mustang. Make it into a retro 49 Ford.

That's actually not too bad from what is out there, but still not for me LOL! If they lower it evenly all around it would a lot better.

I think it looks cool. If the original Mustang had been in a wreck and this was his idea to keep it going so be it. It's still around and running. My father had a black 51 Ford (before my time) and it looked something like that, but a coupe. From the pictures he had that I seen. I wouldn't be embarrassed to ride in it. You wouldn't catch me in that red piece of Bondo in the other thread.

The Ford "shoebox's" are really cool cars. Your dads 51 would have been much nicer than this thing. 49 Ford with the s197 power train, and maybe some of the interior goodies would be cool.
