Back in '01 i originally signed on the dotted line for a DHG Bullitt. For some reason it didn't sit with me very well. I could not sleep all night, and the next day the thought would not leave my head in a bad way, so i went back to the dealer, and was able to get out of the deal, and then the next day we found out we were expecting to have our first child. Talk about gut feeling eh!! LOL
So in it's place i have the DHG AutoArt 2001 Bullitt diacast.
......Even after backing out of the Bullitt deal, i still recieved the DVD boxset gift set, and a Congratulations letter from Ford Canada for purchasing the 2001 Bullitt Mustang GT. So that is one thing for memory sakes along with the bill of sale. Just wish i remembered what number it was. Would like to know if it went to a good home?!?!

^ so is that something like a woman's intuition? lol sorry I had to. It's funny how things work out that way, usually it seems to go the wrong way though.

I know eh LMAO!!!
But i think it all worked out for me in the end LOL!.... even though i don't have a '01 Bullitt, i built something a little more personal for me.

Yeah I agree. When you have a special edition car there is only so much you really want to do to it where as a GT is just a GT, mod away. I was always torn with my GT500 as I didn't want to take away from it being a Shelby.

So true!!! But then again, i might have done the similar mods as i have done with my GT LMAO!! Who knows. :?
In my opinion, the '01 Bullitt should have some better collectibilaty seeing that it is a fresh special edition model compared to the Shelby's, Mach's, and Bosses, but we know that will not happen...... and no offence to those with Shelby's, Mach's, or Bosses as they are sweet, sweet rides, but there are fewer '01 Bullitts out there from '64 to present seeing that they were originally only a one year deal with less the 6500 produced, until the '08/'09 models came out that is.
But we all know, and see that the '01 Bullitts are not holding any value still!!! Not right in my opinion!

True enough. I have to admit though I always chuckle when I hear someone say they bought a car because it will be an investment and go up in value. The reason old cars are worth money is because most people just drove them and threw them away so there aren't near as many out there as there were new. If a car does go up in value we are talking 40+ years before it happens, with a few exceptions. The way I look at it is if you want an investment buy stocks, if you want something to drive and enjoy buy the car.
