In Canada yes it is only SVT dealers who will have the GT350 and Raptor.
ST and RS can be sold at all dealers.

The GT350 has a production run of 5000 per year.
The R 500 per year. At this point 2 year run.
But so was the 2007 gt500. that ran til 2014 :)

At this point, the R is very difficult to get and if found likely very high ADM.
Even more so now that media has been doing reviews.
THe 350 in the US is difficult to find and I have seen high ADM's, also people got MSRP as early as yesterday. you need to do the work.
In Canada, based on what I know you can still get them at MSRP, but you will wait.
From my understanding, 35 SVT dealers in Canada. they all have the same allocation.
15 cars, including 1 R, problem is that is for complete year. I know my dealer had 3 allocations released so far and those are even delayed.
So you might get a 2016, but likely wouldn't see it till next summer anyway.

No 2015's came to canada, only 100gt350's and 37 R's were built.
for that model year, so 2015's will be very rare.

Yah, they can take those dealer markups and put 'em where the sun don't shine. Don't think I'll be seeing one any time soon, but thanks for the info. Unfortunately for those guys with deeper pockets, if you want it, like anything else, you're gonna pay for the hype. I hope if these guys buy them they drive them, I hate seeing something like that just sitting.

Some of the dealers are crooks for sure. Some treat customers the way
they should. Always the way with this sort of thing.
For me, I got mine at MSRP and I will drive it.
It won't be DD but my current Mustang isn't either.
But I do trips and enjoy it whenever the time allows. :)

As for my current car, in order to buy the 350, I have to sell it.
Hard as I have a ton of work done to it and going to lose on it huge with
mods I have done, someone is going to get one hellva a car for far less than
it should sell for :rolleyes:

Thats always the way though, you'll never get your money back on mods, and someone else is always going to score a sweet ride for less cash than it would take to build their own. Thats how it goes with this hobby, but you do what you gotta do.

So true, we all know far to many stories on this, I look at the flip side in this case. I believe the Shelby GT350R is going to be a very special ride.

I and it ordered before most, including my dealer really knew what it was :)
I suspect if they knew it would be limited car which is hard to get more,
( at least at this point) the owner might have kept it.

Running joke in local club is me taking them for test runs, or if shows up before snow flies, being a club day in my garage LOL.
When I ordered it, I didn't even realize how rare it might be.
But still early and maybe they up production, not why I bought it,
for me its a dream car and one I could see enjoying for many years or a
lifetime :)

Wow, that's a lot to pay! Sounds to me like it won't be putting any miles on it and that makes me kinda sad:(. Sounds like he has some cash though so maybe he'll buy one next year at msrp and actually drive it!

No offence, but his dealer must laughing his azz off (all the way to the bank) at anyone stupid enough to pay over MSRP, and then to park it on top of that is simply retarded. Nothing like paying $50000+ of pure profit. More money than brains. Only guy more retarded is the guy that offered $200k.
