Looks more like a 350R, but let the rumours start flying..forced induction 5.2L? Mayyyyyyyybbbeeeeee.....

Read up. Any guesses on the price. My guess is $100k plus CDN. Remember the R is $90k plus CDN.
Confirmed: 2019 Ford Mustang GT500 to feature 5.2-liter supercharged V8 |
Well there finally seems to be a bit of evidence but I still don’t know if it’ll come together. There has been so much speculation on this car it’s been insane. If they really do it, Ford will be king of the hill for sure.

Interesting the article Tlavalle posted also indicated there's a 2020 GT350, I figured 2019 was the last year. Maybe by 2020 I'll be due for an update. lol

GT500 will be over priced ( Additional Dealer Markup ), and outside my snack bracket.
The GT350 was subject to ADM, depending on where you dealt, ( I was lucky to score my order under MSRP ), but it'll be the same story with the GT500. Quite happy with the GT350, GT500 will be impressive, and I've never had forced induction, but from all indications, the GT500 is just too far outside the budget comfort zone. Still, if Ford is looking for a Demon killer, anytime you can use "factory" and "700+ hp" in the same sentence, you're truly "living in the golden years." ( Bonus points if someone can tell me what well known NWOBHM metal band lyric inspired that quote, and which song.) More Christmas eggnog...woot !!!! |
Iron Maiden, Wasted Years.
Album, Somewhere in Time. |
Ha ha ha...nailed it. Well done. One of my favourite Maiden songs and videos.
