Read up everyone. I think it may really be coming soon.

Ford Inadvertently Confirms the GT500's Supercharged V8, 200 MPH Top Speed, and Carbon Ceramic Brakes - AllFordMustangs

North of 750HP and 200MPH plus.

Apocalypse Pony Dec 29, 2017 08:14 PM

wait and see.....

We knew this was going to be expensive, but add carbon brakes and this could scare
people, I think north of 100k.

Apocalypse Pony Dec 30, 2017 10:26 AM

North of, or at 100k, wouldn't surprise me. Glad I got mine when I did.

Tlavalle Dec 30, 2017 11:50 AM

There will be enough early adopters to pay that kind of money, even higher with ADMs. Don't think I would pay $100k for one. I just took a pass on a 2017 GT350 Electronics Package with 3200km for $58,000. It was being traded in by a friend of a friend and could have got it for the trade in price. Just not ready for one yet. The Boss still puts a huge grin on my face every time I drive it.

Apocalypse Pony Dec 30, 2017 02:25 PM

$58k for a trade in is pretty much a steal for a purchase price on a 2017.

Unfortunate the first guy took a beating on it though, probably paid $80k + taxes ($90k) , drove it 3200 km and traded it in for $58k ....ouch, thats almost $100 a kilometre.

Hope he enjoyed losing $30k. lol And people wonder why I'm driving this car every chance I get.

Tlavalle Dec 30, 2017 02:36 PM

I know. I don't have that kind of money to spend on cars.

ChadStang Dec 30, 2017 10:46 PM

I’d be all over one of these, except for that whole 100k thing lol. I guess I have to wait for one of those guys to trade one in with 3200km.

Why is the hood the same design styling that Chevy did with the Camaro and Corvette ?? (Tight be just me, but the louver type design looks the same IMO)
