GT350 TSB for rear panel gap

So if there was one concern I had, and one thing on the US forums I actually paid some attention to, it was the owners who said there was a tendency of the GT350 rear bumper cover to sag. Yes, my car has a saggy ass. lol Well, its the gap between the bumper cover and the rear quarter panel, not really noticeable unless you're looking for it.

Unlike some of the US owners, I was not quite ready to jump up and down and scream bloody murder about the outrage of poor build quality, the indignity Ford thrust upon unsuspecting buyers, and their bloodthirsty need for profits over quality on a flagship car.

Nope, I just drove and enjoyed....and watched. Sure enough, they were right, and the car does show signs of the gap increasing. Same US forum just posted a Technical Service Bulletin number issued by Ford with a fix for the problem.

For the ( at least ) two other owners on here, ohtobbad and milner_7, the TSB # is 18-2107, dated 29/March/2018......part number for the kit is JR3Z-17N775-A.

Chad probably has the inside track, but just for laughs I'm going to call my parts guy tomorrow and check it out. Still can't drive the F@*$%#g car because they're calling for freezing rain this weekend, but gotta be getting close, and I'm not even sure the parts are available in Canada yet.

I’ve seen some complaints on other forums but hadn’t seen the TSB. It’s good that there is a fix, hopefully it’s not too intrusive and the parts are actually available.

TSB is hot off the presses, some US availability apparently, but according to my parts guy, pricing hasn't been listed when he runs the part number.

Much like the oil line recall, wait and see, no big panic, its not really a huge deal anyway, just nags on you a bit.

On the plus side, I'm thinking next week might be time to make the call to get out of storage.

Had mine in yesterday to get my Track Pack spoiler installed and my hood alignment fixed. Ford Quality control sucks that is for sure. I spoke with my guy there and we are going to get the bumper sag fixed as well. Funny enough it only started showing the other day and the OCD in me cannot let it go lol!!

Pretty sure this is a warranty repair

I believe you're right. The gap has been getting bigger on mine for a while now, it just started really irritating me last fall, so its good timing for a fix.

I've had no issues with the hood alignment. Congrats on the Track Pack spoiler, looks so much better, the Tech Pack spoiler was pretty lame.
