2-3 gear shift
 

Has anyone heard how the gt500 shifts in the 2-3 shift. In the past I have found my gt's have a less than stellar smoothness and had the shifters swapped out. I will probabely not swap this time as 2nd gear will give me adequate speed for those VERY rare high speed light launches. Just curious if anyone has heard about this subject.:wiggle:

I've heard gt500's with the tr6060 are better at shifting stock than the gt's. I believe it's still a trans mounted shifter design so the possibility of tq binding when trying to powershift would still be there. If you try it out and find you are having problems but don't want to swap shifters just putting in some stiffer motor mounts should do the trick.
