2007 mustang gt

My wife has a 2007 mustang gt, we had it stored for the winter inside. The battery died over the winter so replaced with a new one. The weird thing is the car's marker and tail lights as well as the dash lights are blinking. If we start the car it stops. I can shut the car off,get out , lock the doors and the lights will continue to blink. I checked body ground points but still doing it. Has anyone run into this before. The car does not have command start.

Sounds like a bad gem module/ smart junction box

Better take it to a dealership

Always put a battery maintainer on your car if storing over winter. Our cars are known for draining battery's like its their job.

Thanks. I disconnect the battery on my shelby and should have done the same now that I'm finding out about all the little quarks they have. Guess will see and hope for the best 😁

Could be the flasher unit has gone. But best have it checked by a shop.

When we go to car shows I let Pam decide which one she wants to drive.
