Canadian Mustang Owners Club - Ford Mustang Forums - Sage's Album: Sage's 2015 2.3T EcoBoost Premium - see album for a bunch of pics :) Very open to questions and ideas! |
Welcome, thanks but no thanks. That whole thing just reeks of some sort of scam, sorry, but joining up being all gung ho about how much you love your Mustang and then posting up a deal on a brand new car that you've had two months stinks. Post up some contact info, I doubt you'll be back. Why the sudden change of heart? If you're straight up on it, my apologies, but for someone on the outside looking in at this ad for the first time, I wouldn't touch it, I'd rather go to the dealer and lease new for that kind of money. Just being honest with you.

Well, there's no harm in posting the ad, I guess :P
I plan to stick around for a long time, so hopefully it will become clear that my intentions are pure haha. Edit: Apologies for omitting the contact details - my email is hermitcdn@gmail.com, and my cell is 647-627-0421. I just want to be clear - the only thing I don't like is the exhaust and it's killing me. If I can fix it, the car is perfect. |
I would never....oh yah, sure I would.

And that burnout video is coming y'all ;) P.S. As for the exhaust, I'm looking at either Roush or Flowmaster Outlaw axle back, I guess.. |

This offer is still out there, by the way, and will likely continue to remain this way for some time. Sooooo if anyone's interested - give me a shout.
I'll probably take it down after I slap on some CAI, Brembos, tune and exhaust though. Something tells me I'll be much happier with the ride by then :) |
Aren't mods a violation of the terms of the lease? Or are you going back to stock when you turn it in?
|
You're right. Well, depending on the mods, I'll either go stock at the end of the lease, or buy the car out cause what the hell
|
Keep it. Once you get over the sound (or embarrass a couple of 4.6 V8s), you'll love the car. There is a lot of potential in that little engine, and something very gratifying about driving a "sleeper".
|
Well, I guess I'm keeping it, fellas - Flowmaster Outlaw Axle-Back exhaust is on it's way from AmericanMuscle.com.
Can anyone suggest a place where I can get them installed around Toronto, ON? Preferably under $100, should't take more than half an hour  |

I don't have a lot of faith in my mechanic abilities unfortunately :D

If you're keeping it, I'm going to modify the thread title slightly and move it out of the Classifieds, if you want it to stay where it is, I can move it back, but seeing as you're keeping it, why not. Incidentally, I think axle backs are super easy, unbolt them, wriggle them out of the hangers and then drop the new ones in, installation is the opposite of removal. Drop by Autonuts place, I bet he'd do it for $75 max. lol Sorry to volunteer your services Autonut, but I have confidence you'd do a great job.
|
...or take a 2 hour drive to my place, and I'll do it for free.
