2017 gt

Hey everyone, with all the after market parts out there, I'm a little overwhelmed and confused listening to everyone's opinion. I'm looking for some suggestions on what I have planned for my mustang and who else to ask then you fine mustang folks. Please let me know what you think about he following and if you have heard of better options.
Corsa S type cat back exhaust
K&N cold air intake
What tuner should I purchase.
Thanks
Kreech

I think you've got Borla and Corsa confused. Borla makes the S type exhaust. The Corsa equivalent would be the sport but my favourite is definitely the Corsa Xtreme. To be safe and try to somewhat keep your warranty intact I'd use this

Theres your problem right there, someone will always say one product is better than the other, best you can do in my opinion is do your homework and decide for yourself what parts or brands you want to go with.

For what it's worth, I've always had good luck with Ford Performance parts, the fit, finish and quality are right up there with the best of them, and the parts are engineered for your application, plus, with a new car and a warranty, if I have Ford parts installed by Ford techs, generally might be an easier road if things go bad. ( I recognize that Ford Performance parts are technically not OEM Ford parts as its a separate company, but you get what I'm saying) Then again, I've never had any issues with my vehicles, or the FP parts I've installed either, your mileage may vary.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome, post pics !

I find reading the reviews online very helpful and usually pretty honest to forum posts I've read. There's tons of exhaust vids on youtube to listen to as well. Also the new CAI are really more just for looks. The factory ones now a days flow just as good. You get the most bang for your buck from a tune.

I agree. The tune is the best mod you can do.

Thanks for the reply. I think dropping the 30 + lbs with an aftermarket exhaust should help as well.

I have the Diablosport inTune tuner with the BAMA tunes from American Muscle and have been happy with it. The only gripe I have with it is that it takes about 10 minutes to load tunes which I think is too long but I don't have anything else to compare it to. Diablosport now sells an inTune II tuner that offers improvements on the first version and is supposed to be much faster loading tunes then my current model. SCT is a very popular tuner but the ones I've seen are quite large. I was attracted to the Diablosport tuner because it is very compact and is about the same dimensions as the second gen iPod Touch and fits out of the way in the console storage compartment of my 2012. As far as the tunes themselves, I have been very happy with the BAMA tunes and they have the benefit of being free for life so every time you modify the car you can have new programming built for free. Diablosport also does tuning for the Mustang. I have read that MPT is among the best for tuning but with them, each time you have tunes created you have to pay for new ones. Anyway there are lots of choices for you. Good luck.
