66 Mustang squealing
 

Hi I have a 66 Mustang 3 speed.


When the car is in gear as well as accelerating, I get a squealing noise.


Once car is in neutral, the squeal goes away.


Is this a loose or worn belt causing the squeal?

Does it make that noise when revving the engine in neutral or on start up?

no on start up but yes if revving in neutral it also makes the noise.

I also found a loose bolt/nut that holds one side of the tensioner...will
be replacing/tightening that once back at home
