86 wheels
 

hey,
I have an 86 GT and im in the market for new wheels and was wondering what would fit? i want to go with 17's. I know that the ones on there now are 16's but my buddy seems to think that 17's might rub. Does anyone know if it would work?

A lot of guys run the 17" factory Ford rims from the '99 to '04 Stangs without any issues.There is a few here that have aftermarkets rims like the FR500 rim on their foxes.It all depends on the rubber,and rim width you go with.
