96 GT Air Ride - yes or no..

Hi all, i'm new to the forum and couldn't find anything about Air Ride. I have a 96 GT and i have done some work on 'er, Eibach Sportline springs and such, Engine upgrade, long tube headers, etc, etc. but i'm finding driving around Edmonton with a Lowered car kind of sucks.. speedbumps, potholes, potholes, potholes.. i've been thinking of upgrading to Air Ride to adjust on the fly.. around the city, raised up, highway drop her down. Any ideas, horror stories? My concern with the air ride is the lifespan of the bags, especially with the extreme cold of winter and the heat of the summer.. any input would be appreciated.

No idea, closest thing to Air Ride I ever had was the Monroe Air Shocks I had on the rear of a '77 Nova, which was back in the late 80's. Never had any issues, winter or summer.

Welcome to the forum, good luck, and Merry Christmas.

If you are looking at air ride I hear good things about Air Lift. According to their faq it shouldn’t be an issue to winter drive them.
