Adjustable rear sway bar
I know of the Maximum Motorsports and Steeda versions, anyoine aware of any others worth mentioning? Any comments on pros/cons of each?

I've never gone with an adjustable rear sway bar - although I've got no complaints with the Steeda bar I'm running now.

IIRC, the Steeda one is just a repackaged Addco bar with somewhat cheesy spring loaded attachment points to make it adjustable. It is designed to run as a second bar in conjunction with the OEM piece. The unit from MM is more elaborate and more expensive, but is adjustable by moving the attachment points on the blades, a "proper" adjustable bar.
From your sig, you have a pretty good batch of components slid under the car already. Is there a specific handling trait that you are looking for, or to get rid of? Are you using the car for mostly street, autocross, track events? If you are getting too much understeer, maybe consider a slightly smaller front bar, Maximum has some I believe. You have enough front spring that you could do that. cheers Ed N. |
