ATF Questions
I got some questions regarding automatic and manual transmission fluid. When I had my Cobra I was debating on whether or not I wanted to switch the engine, rear end and transmission over to full synthetic fluids but I never got to ask that due to selling it. now I want to ask the same for my new car the Civic, I know its not a Mustang but I assume the general principles are the same, will it leak through the seals?, is it just a dumb idea in general?, what is a reliable brand?. any help is much appreciated. It has about 27,000 kms on her so far and is already running Castrol Syntec in the motor.

I don't think it would hurt. you don't have many KM's on it yet.
I am going to be using AMSOIL, threw out my whole car. but there is also mobil 1, royal purple. I read some where that Castrol Syntec is not actually a synthetic oil.

IMO, it has 27,000km, leave it alone. I'd think about changing it around 100,000
