Best Fox Cat-back??

What is the best cat back for a fox?? I am talking quality and fit..... the whole package.

P.Meister 02-28-2006 07:07 PM

Borla, Magnaflow, Dynomax

Bubba_Lane 02-28-2006 07:19 PM

magnaflow :tup

03WhiteGT 02-28-2006 08:44 PM

Magnaflow, foooo sho!

White97 02-28-2006 10:23 PM

Open h-pipe! Brother's 5.0 is like that right now and it sounds like the world is coming to an end.

adamo 03-05-2006 09:26 PM

Ive run flo-pro mufflers in the past, and they were basically the same as the flowmaster design, but a hair cheaper.

diggyd 03-06-2006 11:48 AM

Flowmasters sound the best on a 5.0 by far.

88 Notch 03-09-2006 07:16 AM

I have Dynomax, think they sound pretty good.

krazpny 03-11-2006 06:28 PM

personally ive had flowmaster dynomax and magnaflow..flowies should of came stock on mustangs because every single one in hamilton has them. i run magnaflow magnapacks and there isnt a exhaust thats affordable that can scream like these..

fordrage460 03-13-2006 05:45 PM

i have also had flowmasters on both my stangs but am lookin into borla or bassini. Has anyone heard a bassini exhaust on a 5.0?

krazpny 03-13-2006 05:47 PM

a friend of mine had a full front to back bassani..spent a ton of money on it and it was scary..mind you it was a 347 instead of a 302 but if you can afford it it will definately be worth it

MUSTANG GUY 03-15-2006 02:13 AM

Flowmaster #1

Crazirich 03-15-2006 11:42 AM

Well until mine falls off..... but i will prolly start putting together bit by bit, flowies..... what about maybe no mufflers.... just the cats and pipes.... how loud would that be :chacha:

it would sound tractor. Including all the shaking

Crazirich 03-16-2006 10:53 AM

well maybe i'll find a small resonator for the place of mufflers

krazpny 03-16-2006 05:20 PM

ya but wouldnt resonators just rob horsepower...and what about legality of it all...if you get stopped they will love you. if you want to run straight pipes i would slice open a set of cheapie mufflers gut them and weld it back up so it looks legal..

My favourite is Dynomax Ultra Flow, I've got the stainless ones on my '88, sound awesome, lifetime warranty, excellent fit.

My car is stock exhaust, minus mufflers. I like it :tup

It's quieter than many a mustang with hi-flow cats and aftermarket mufflers.

tear u a new 1 04-02-2006 08:51 PM

i put an off road upr x pipe into the flowmaster 40 series , 2 chamber muffs with crome tips...... cause crome makes it go faster. ive heard all exhasuts and nothin sounds better on a pony than flowmaster. the total damage for all that was 650.00 from the mustang shop in calgary. its a comlpete exhaust from headers to tail but no cats. cause catalytic convos are gay :tup

Anyone know who sells this in the GTA? Is it a full catback system?

STAMPEDE 04-07-2008 10:15 AM

Does anyone know who sells spin-techs in Ontario ? Do they offer a catback system ?

QWKRN-U 04-13-2008 10:28 AM

I have Mac long tubes, an off road H and Imco's welded into a Mac cat back, the Mac mufflers lasted almost 10 years before they rotted out from the inside. The Imco's sound alot like the Macs did= very loud.

Mineral Grey Pony 05-06-2008 08:00 PM

All I can say is 1 word, "FLOWMASTER!!!"
