Bought a 05 convertible in Florida and got it here to Ont. Took it to Ford dealer to get Daytime Running Lights turned on, but they said they couldn't because no Gem module installed. Cost of the module was going to be way more then kit to just use the turn signals as DRLs. RIV checklist says lens must be clearly marked DLR. Question is how do I mark them to satisfy the CTC inspection.

 

I would wire up the fog lights as drl. That should pass with no issues. If you have any questions contact Canadian Tire as they can perform the out of country inspection and will know what's passable. You will also need an out of province inspection to get it registered.
