So how exactly is it done without line locks? That gotta be hard on the rear brakes... I understand you have more brake bias toward the front,but you're still applying brake pressure to the back at the same time the rear tires are trying to break loose.
One last thing: Is this covered under warranty? :lol:LOL::D |
Easier to do with an automatic than a standard, and yah it's hard on the brakes which is why it's a good idea to only do it once and a while. You can do it with a stick too, you just gotta do a bit of a two foot shuffle with the brake and the clutch. One you get them roasting you can let up a bit on the brake, but if your on it too hard you'll just stall it out.

nice vid=yeah. For the stick, gasser to 5000 rpm car in second dump clutch and see smoke, so i hear lol

burnout was done in first gear. tires spin about 60kmhr with 3.55s. 2nd gear may be possible but im not comfortable doing a 5000rpm drop into 2nd with the stock clutch. GT500 different story ;)
