Buying tomorrow

Difference between 2003 GT and 2004 GT

I am taking a look at two 03 GTs tomorrow and im just wondering if anybody can tell me the differences between 03s and 04s. Ive looked online and i can see that they have anniversary badges but thats the only thing i can see other than the fact that the 04s weight is slightly lower. I originally wasnt going to look at anything but an 04 but these are priced very well. So if anybody can help me out im also wondering if ther is any reason i should go with an 04 instead and also how i can tell the difference between a Deluxe and Premium.
Thank you hopefully the advice to follow can help with my decision tomoro.:tup

As you staed, the badges, and the depending on the '03 GT,the later '03 model GT's going into the '04 model GT's the cylinder heads have been updated to the deeper threaded spark plug holes unlike the previous years where they didn't have enough threading......Spark plugs were blowing out!!!:?

For me it would boil down to condition price mileage between the various cars you are looking at. Good luck and happy hunting

I just like the look of the car with the 40th anni badges!!

well all i know is that the 04 is the last year or that body style so it would be the most finished of that style but really there arnt to many defining figures between them it like snakebite said it comes to price and milege.

For me it would come down to condition and mileage.

Arg... it was really nice. Black on black standard transmission. lowered with a magnaflow catback exhaust and a bbk cold air intake. The only bad was the driver obvs wasnt comfortable parkin on ther passenger side cuz the rims wer a bit chewed. it also had the front bumber brackets broken so it was probably in a fender bender. Im goin to take it to the mechanic and get it inspected. Is ther anything i should be aware of when searching for a used stang (03) Thanx for the help guys

well ive heard of people having the transmission problems they had complaints of being a bit clunky so be sure when shifting that it feels smooth. i have a lincoln with a similar 4.6l and its been a very reliable car/motor. the only things ive had to replace are the water pump alternator and i believe the tensioner and this is a 99. hope that helps.
