Terminal Velocity 02-27-2007 08:41 PM

wheelliftin351 02-27-2007 08:43 PM

those look pretty decent, but i am trying to find light racing rims, or a was going to keep my 4 cyl rims as u see in the sig for the sleeper look...but i guess i can't do that lol

Terminal Velocity 02-27-2007 08:48 PM

come on nothin says sleeper like steelies and caps LOL

wheelliftin351 02-27-2007 09:08 PM

i acually want nice chrome rims so ya lol

Ponyryd 02-27-2007 09:10 PM

You could do it and it would work OK, but you won't be getting the best contact patch and will probably be scary in the corners since the sidewalls are so flexible. It is do-able though and would be a really cool sleeper if you can hide the sound of the engine somehow. I'm pretty sure the stock 4cyl steelies are 5.5" or 6" wide if memory serves so it's not as bad as you think.

You mean the wheels on the car in your sig? No, they're probably 14x5.5 or 6". Also, for exhaust, anything Flowmaster makes will be quite loud, the quietest muffler I know of that still has good flow characteristics if the Dynomax Super-Turbo, make sure you run tails too as turn downs only make it louder.

wheelliftin351 02-27-2007 09:25 PM

ya i aint gunna run dumps, and yes those are the rim in my sig.....damn they wont work lol

Ponyryd 02-27-2007 09:50 PM

Just so you know, 14" slicks are available, or at least they were a few years ago when I last checked.

wheelliftin351 02-27-2007 09:52 PM

ya but when i upgrade to 15's i'll have to buy new tires and im getting Mickey Thompson drag radials
