Cold Air Intake system for 2012 V6
So, I purchased an Airaid Cold Air Intake system for my 2012 Mustang V6. I must say I'm impressed with the throttle response and it seems to have a little more 'oomph' - plus the sound I'm hearing now from the engine is sweet :chacha:
Got it for $280 from Mopac here in Calgary - American Muscle has it for $270 (plus shipping!!) so the deal from Mopac is a good one imo :tup A few pics of it here |
Did you tune it as well? Is it required on the 6?

nice price for sure

Actually, I didn't have to tune with this particular Airaid CAI.
Been considering a tuner cause I'm insatiably curious what it might do for the 3.7L :D |

Apparently they respond quite well but if it removes your speed limiter don't drive it too fast. There have been some high speed driveshaft failures on the 3.7.
