Which Combo for Steeda CB?
I'm currently running;
Stock manifold/headers, Stock H (cats gutted) & Steeda CB I'm looking for opinions on what combo to go with. BBK Headers: BBK O/R X, UPR O/R X or ? (suggestions) Hooker Headers: Hooker O/R X, UPR O/R X or ? (suggestions) |
LT's suck on street driven cars, FRPP are decent but dont expect big gains, SLP X-Pipe is a quality stainless piece for a fair price. And you and your stinkin no air care on Island can kiss my "Insert explicit word here" :shakeit:
|
Depends on how low your Stang is?
LT's are Touchy though! good gains! nice 8 to 10hrs to install :bleh: Daily it sucks esp around town! unless you live out in the sticks with nothing but flat pavement. |
For mid pipe with a steeda CB I would go Dr Gas X pipe
|
Mac Prochamber all the way !! , it s better than any hpipe or xpipe , the sound are very loud , not like a machine gun on WOT whit Xpipe ...
|
I have Hooker LT's Hooker O/R X and a 99+ Steeda Catback... Sounds awesome and I would definitely recommend it.
And 8-10 hours for headers is completely false, on a 2 valve they can be knocked off in 4. |

Hooker LT's, Hooker O/R X and CB or BBK LT's, X Pipe (non BBK), CB
BBK's xpipe sounds like garbage IMO |
SLP longtube's and x-pipe off road or with cats whichever you prefer. :tup i only have the x right now, but i will get the lt's as soon as i get a kenne belle :biggrin:

Well, I had my Steeda catback put on today at Steeda.ca/MPW and I gotta say I love this thing. My "combo" is factory logs with an MRT catted H now with the Steeda system and it sounds sweet. It's a smidgen droney on the highway at 2000-2300RPM in 5th with a bit of throttle but it's not objectionable at all. Around town it's definitely what I was looking for. Volume is controlled by the percent throttle fed in. Off-throttle "burble" is perfect. I'm curious to know how the system will "bed in" over the next few hundred KMs.
Thanks to Pat, Paul & Mike at Steeda.ca :cheers: |
