So true. Funny that luxury then ment lots pf exterior chrome, and classic spare tire holder on the back of the trunk on top of the bumper.
Today it means expensive, high end, top of the line sport car. LOL

SNAKEBITE 05-09-2012 10:34 PM

or the Caddy with the extra thick roof (not sure the material used) I see it 99/100 in the USA, the other 1/100 in Canada. I guess that means we have better taste.

ChadStang 05-09-2012 11:52 PM

We sold a new style t-bird to a guy here in 03 and he had a custom continental kit built for it.

SNAKEBITE 05-10-2012 01:33 AM

I can remember seeing 1 or 2 of those in Windsor

VAEM 05-10-2012 06:24 PM

Whitelion95GT 06-19-2012 11:19 PM

Rim size?

How wide is the stock 95 Mustang GT rim? 17x 7 or 17x8 Thanks:)

Whitelion95GT 06-20-2012 02:36 PM

Just wanted to know if the 99 Mustang Gt (Bullitt wheels) 17x8 will fit my Mustang?

stev0h 06-20-2012 05:14 PM

I had some time to kill today, so I went to www.tirerack.com, plugged in a 1995 Ford Mustang GT, selected wheel & tire packages with 17" diameter, and it came up with 12 different 17" wheels available in 7.5", 8", 9", 10" & 10.5" widths. If you search just tires, 2 OEM sizes are listed: 225/55-16 & 245/45-17.

When I punched in 1999 GT models, there was no Bullitt listed (I didn't think they made a Bullitt until 2001 :?), but the 2 OEM tire sizes listed were the same as the 1995 GT. I also searched on a 2001 GT Bullitt, & it is listed, with one OEM size at, you guessed it, 245/45-17.

Hope this helps.

Whitelion95GT 06-20-2012 08:14 PM

Yes, Stev0h this helps big time. So the 99 Mustang GT 17x8 (Bullitt wheels) will fit my 95 Mustang GT. So I'm getting 4 Bullitt wheels for my car tomorrow.

Thanks, Whitelion.
