Equal length headers have the same length pipes from the flange to the header collector, unequal heders have long pipes to the front of the engine that reduce in length as you near the collector. Basically the equal length headers are supposed to provide incresed scavenging in all cylinders due to the equal length of the pipes as opposed to having one pipe longer than the other which will provide slightly different scavenging in each cylinder due to the different pipe length. The plugs are not much harder to chenge with e/l's, I just put them on my car a few weeks back and plugs were not hard to install afterwards. The main problem with e/l's is that they're pretty hard to install and run very close to the framerails, a/c lines and steering shaft, they also tend to sit on the front crossmember if the motor mounts are sagging at all. If you're just doing a mild street/strip car, I'd go with unequal's, the power difference between them is 1-2hp max, and they're cheaper than e/l's, the only reason I'm running e/l's is because my buddy gave them to me :teeth: . If you're looking at buying headers, stay away from Flowtech or Heddman, pay more for a good set.

Glad to help Nick.
Are they equal length? If they're used, $150 is a little steep, usually used headers fetch $100ish if they're mint, unless these were used for like 5minutes, pricing seems high to me. $150 is about what an e-cam goes for, but why do you want one? Do you have any other mods yet? the stock cam is a good piece, you could better spend that money on something else I think.
