Exhaust.....

I currently am looking at a SLP Loudmouth cat back.

Do you think it would be to loud since im now running Long tube headers, and a prochamber mid section?

Yes, it will be too loud, they are loud with cats!! They also sound like crap IMO. I guess it depends what you want, if you're looking for ear-splitting noise, get 'em, there are many other good sounding exhausts on the market.

Why not run cats all the time? it's a bit quieter but there's hardly any power loss at all. Some good exhaust companies are Magnaflow, Bassani, Borla, Pypes, IMCO, etc.... there are many, all will sound good w/the ProChamber.

Go Borla with the prochamber. I had that setup when I had my '01 GT. Sounded awesome.

Keith, put on the mufflers i gave you. and just see if you like it. remember, my car was a 200hp slug so they will sounds more agressive on yours with the amount of air your capalble of moving. and your headers and midpipe will complement it better to

Borla is wicked pricey but also insanely high quality!!! Good choice.

I'm going Magnaflow on mine. SLP sounds to "barky" to me too (agreeing with Ponyryd for once LOL!), not my cup of tea.

Everyone's taste is different in this department. I loved the sound of my 40-series flows on the purple car, but I've heard the Magnaflows since then and I really like them too. They also don't have the insane 2,000RPM drone that the flowmasters have..... Which can be a nuisance at times. MAC also sounds awesome, U-LOSE has it on his car (or at least he did, not 100% sure that's still what's on there) and it sounds incredible.

Maybe find some sound clips and take a listen, see which you like best? After all, you are going to be the one living with it

The Magnaflows sound great on by V6, I can only imagine what they would sound like on a V8. $835.00 installed.
