ChadStang 02-13-2012 09:30 PM

What a deal

Whitelion95GT 02-14-2012 01:24 AM

Yes, I thought the same thing

SNAKEBITE 02-14-2012 04:15 PM

Ouch 937.50 for a car payment, I would never do that.

ChadStang 02-14-2012 07:14 PM

^ especially for something that's going to see very little use

Probably both!

SNAKEBITE 02-15-2012 03:06 PM

I refuse to pay anything over 500.00 a month and try to payoff in under 2 years personally. My 05gt took 5 months to the day and the 09 took 25 months. I HATE CAR PAYMENTS lol

quadkeeper 02-17-2012 12:24 PM

Payments of any kind suck. Hard enough to save anything with having to pay interest on borrowed monies. Cash and carry here! Happy motoring!

SNAKEBITE 02-17-2012 03:48 PM

great way to think and if a fella can do it all the better

Whitelion95GT 02-17-2012 04:02 PM

Most of my cars that I owned where used, 7- 10 yrs old. So I paid cash. Bought my 95GTwhen she was 10 for $3500 plus my old car:)

SNAKEBITE 02-20-2012 04:36 PM

I alway figured if you know what to look for used is the way to go, I do not know squat so I go new lol

Whitelion95GT 02-20-2012 08:09 PM

My next Mustang will be a 2005-GT 5 spd I hope.

SNAKEBITE 02-21-2012 01:44 PM

Not a bad selection and you can find nice examples for 10-15 g's. good luck with the hunt

Whitelion95GT 02-21-2012 08:58 PM

Yes, I still have time till 2015 unless I find a good deal on a 05 mustang. Don't want to pay that much over my 95GT she is worth an easy $5500 as is.

SNAKEBITE 02-22-2012 11:30 AM

The nice thing about plans on buying is with the Pony so popular there's always tons on the market

Good call. They are a nice upgrade from the 95. Keeping the 95 also?

VAEM 02-26-2012 07:30 PM

^^^ Keep the '95! SN95's rock!

SNAKEBITE 02-27-2012 01:33 PM

more is better no ^^^^ lol

Whitelion95GT 02-27-2012 03:08 PM

Yes, With all the work I put into my 95GT it would be hard to sell her at this time:)

SNAKEBITE 02-28-2012 04:49 PM

see that's why I never put much work into mine (other than wax) so it's easy to let it go

Whitelion95GT 02-28-2012 07:14 PM

Your lucky,Every Mustang I owned, I put a bit of blood, sweat, and tears into them but I loved doing it lol:)

VAEM 02-28-2012 07:46 PM

I've always had a hard time parting with vehicles - I get attached to them. There are a few that I'll never sell - Mustang included.

:tup Thanks Whitelion95GT. Much appreciated.

SNAKEBITE 03-01-2012 11:36 AM

^^^^by the way is it done now?^^^

VAEM 03-03-2012 06:30 AM

^^^ Ummm, well .... essentially, no. I'd still like to do some minor things to the 5.0 - leather racing seats, a Saleen / Vortech intake and some cosmetic upgrades like polished nitrous bottles. The 6-er still has a TON of work to go. That'll start up again soon ... just waiting for SSM parts to arrive - then the 6-er will look a lot like 1LOW right now. I wanted to get some shots of the 5.0 and 3.8 next to each other this summer. I'll be sure to post!! :)

SNAKEBITE 03-03-2012 07:35 AM

sounds good

to pay that bad 09 shelby off in 25 months you had to make a bigger payment per month than that i would imagine.

SNAKEBITE 03-09-2012 09:36 AM

1/3 down 25 payments and large check to payoff. I was paying roughly 6% and I hate interest lol My proudest moment as a Pony owner was paying off the brand new 05gt in exactly 5 months, boy was that ever nice
