honestly i didnt know it was the smallest one.
i didnt research too much.
so what does it mean that it is small?
that it will take longer to hit max boost?

if i can run 5 times in one night a shannoniville im doing good. so running out of juice will not be an issue!

Running more then 5 times to me is too much, Car barely has time to cool down and your running it agian!

I really plan on letting the car cool down between races, hang out in the pits for a bit then run again.

I know a guy in Edmonton that had a 99 Cobra with a p1sc blower. It was maxed out at about 500 rwhp. He is stepping up to D1 blower that should kick him up to about 600 or so.

Your only problem might be over spinning the blower. It should be a good blower for your car, but I know you will want more out of it.

Just ask a few questions about the blower on SVTPerformance or The Corral and they might be able to help you alot more.

I was under the impression that the non '03-'04 Cobra's had the same cracked-powder rods as the GT engine, and if so, your buddy is living on borrowed time. Those rods WILL NOT handle that kind of power for long. They will sign out. The '03-'04 Cobra engines are the jewels of the mod motor family because of their upgraded internals.

yeah these motors have forged carnks, but some say max hp before bad ship is 450...which will be fine for me next year.

Its not the crank you are worrying about my friend, its the connecting rods, which are cracked-powder iron, not forged like the 302 rods or the even better '03-'04 Cobra rods.
