Flowmasters Installed
Well I finally got my Flowmaster 40 series mufflers installed. It took my brother and I about 45 minutes total on the hoist to cut and clamp the new ones on. We just put the clamps on for a temporary solution until I get the rest of the exhaust done. One thing I learned is how horrible the factory exhaust is. One side was 2" and the other 2.25". My reducer didn't fit properly and we had to make... adjustments.
I'm happy about the sound, sounds like how a Cobra should. Right now I'm running open mufflers with no tips, selling them to my brother for $50. I want to either use turndowns or aim it out towards the wheels. Here's a short clip, sounds crappy since it was from my digital camera. I'll try to get a better one tomorrow when I can rev it up and not wake up the whole neighbourhood. http://www.stang232sc.com/100_3281.MOV 7mb... can't really help the size. |
