Fog Light Wiring Q

My car was prewired for fog lights but the wires were completely corroded from 11 years of never being used. I redid the ends and I got them to work but the wires get really hot so I don't want to keep them connected. Anyone notice if theirs get hot too? I'm probably going to have to rewire the whole thing.

Turns out the connectors were opened up too much and it wasn't making constant contact with the bulbs. Works great now.

Well, the factory wiring isnt up to par anyways. I believe they use 16 gauge wire and that just cannot support the amperage draw from the fog lights. My suggestion is to rewire them anyways. That way you can make them turn on with just the parking lights on, and a Stang looks killer with just the fogs and parking lights on. You can rewire it a couple of ways with a relay, or if you're happy with how it is now you can just leave it. Either way, let me know if you want me to give you a wiring schematic.
