Friggin' rocks...shattered side mirror...
Guys, so I was driving home last night after a normal hectic day at work and I'm heading down this back road and a large semi drives by, mostly on the shoulder and shots a rock towards my car. No big deal, we've all heard the usual..."TING!!!" from a rock hitting the metal/glass on the cars before without having any ill effects...not this time :( :( . So I go to turn to head home and I look into my drivers side mirror to find its been spider webbed, what a pisser   . so, how the heck to you change these things? Is it easy or costly to repair or fix? Or do I need to replace it all together?
While I'm on side mirrors, my passenger side mirror will not turn in enough to let me see behind the car, always end up looking at the side of hte road or the fields, any ideas on that also? Thanks as usual for any help you guys can offer, A50snake |

what year car is it? and as for the mirror not moving... is you switch gone bad? When they go bad the mirror only moves in 2 directions. (instead of 4)

its an '87. I think the switch is good as it moves the drivers side fine, just the passenger one seems not to willing to come in enough so I can see behind me...
